Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to a Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. She choreographed an 11-year old dance that resulted in a German TV show appearance as the Russian Snow Maiden. She transforms into a playful Indian dancer. She completed high-school within New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. She studied comedy and improvisation at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and the Russian mom Olga. She moved with her father to New York at the age of thirteen year old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. She played a recurring character in the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
